State-of-the-art digital display, providing the driver with key information such as mode, battery charge and remaining range. Infotainment features are also integrated in to this screen which are controlled by the floating 'ski slope-style' centre console.

The Lotus Emira's infotainment system is on a high-resolution 10-inch centre stack display (CSD), with an additional 12-inch display behind the steering wheel. Alex was a significant part of the team which took the CSD system from concept through to testing and validation.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this awe-inspiring project, Alex's ingenuity shines through as he seamlessly inherits the HMI responsibilities for the Lotus Evija hyper car. The successful incorporation of new features and updates to the existing design exemplifies Alex's firm commitment to elevating user experiences, integrating cutting-edge technologies, and maintaining impeccable funcional consistency across the HMI.

By working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers, Alex ensured a flawless integration of the HMI design with the centre console controls, steering wheel controls, and the drivers display. The updated HMI design fosters seamless interaction between drivers and the vehicle's advanced driving technologies.
