ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Alex acted as the internal key stakeholder at Lotus, serving as the main link between internal teams and the external supplier responsible for the app’s development. He supported the project from early scoping and supplier workshops through to delivery, ensuring alignment between technical execution and the design vision. His responsibilities included weekly design reviews, facilitating feedback across departments such as Engineering, Marketing, and Design, and advising on UI decisions to maintain brand consistency. He also led internal presentations and demos at key milestones to keep stakeholders aligned.
KEY CONTRIBUTIONS
While not the lead designer, Alex had a significant influence on the app’s UX and visual coherence. He provided targeted feedback on interaction patterns, helping shape clarity and usability. He flagged issues with iconography and gesture consistency, and supported the integration of features with the vehicle’s embedded systems.

CONTROLS
This interface provides quick access to core remote functions including charge status, preheating, Valet Mode, and individual door locks. The hexagonal control layout mirrors the Evija’s centre console, reinforcing a seamless connection between the digital and physical experience.
CLIMATE CONTROL
QUICK CLIMATE ACCESS
The main controls screen surfaces live climate state, validating current temperature and active heating or cooling. This dynamic display ensures users receive immediate feedback when preheating.
INTERIOR CLIMATE CONTROL
Displays current cabin temperature and allows precise adjustment of heating or cooling. The UI reflects real-time changes and provides clear feedback through simple plus/minus controls.
TRIP & TRACK RECORDING
The app logs daily trips and track sessions, visualising route data, key performance stats, and energy consumption. Whether navigating city streets or pushing limits on the track, drivers gain clear, actionable insights into their journey and driving behaviour.

FINAL NOTES
This project marked Alex’s first experience operating fully client-side, presenting directly to the executive board and acting as a key liaison across internal stakeholders and external partners. It offered valuable exposure to the dynamics of guiding delivery from within the client organisation, where clarity, diplomacy, and structured communication proved critical. The collaboration with the supplier team was particularly rewarding — a seamless, highly professional relationship that contributed to the project’s momentum and overall quality. The experience reinforced the impact of clear stakeholder alignment and timely feedback when navigating complex delivery pipelines in a high-performance automotive environment.
